This notice explains what personal information Luxe Aesthetique Prague collects when you contact us about aesthetic surgery in Prague, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We have kept it in plain language on purpose.
Who we are
Luxe Aesthetique Prague is a patient coordination service operated by Lenka Darázs in Prague, Czech Republic. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the controller of the personal data described below.
We are a coordination service. We are not a clinic and we do not provide medical treatment ourselves.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: your name, e-mail address, phone number and the country you are travelling from.
- What you tell us in your messages: the procedure you are interested in, your questions, your preferred dates and any photographs you choose to send.
- Health information you choose to share so that a surgeon can assess whether a procedure is suitable for you. This is a special category of data under GDPR and we treat it accordingly.
- Technical data created when you visit the website, such as your approximate location, browser type and the pages you opened.
You decide how much to tell us. You never have to send health information or photographs in order to ask a general question.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and plan your treatment and stay. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and the performance of that contract.
- To pass your details to the surgeon or clinic you choose, and to accommodation or transfer partners where you ask us to arrange them. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
- To share health information with a surgeon so your suitability can be assessed. Legal basis: your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep records of enquiries and bookings. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the service and our legal obligations, including tax and accounting.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed, only with the people involved in your care and stay:
- The plastic surgeon and the clinic you select.
- Accommodation providers and transfer drivers, where you have asked us to arrange them. These are independent partners we work with, not our employees.
- Service providers who help run our website and e-mail, acting on our instructions.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Where your data is held
Your data is processed in the Czech Republic and elsewhere in the European Economic Area. If a provider we use processes data outside the EEA, we rely on the safeguards permitted by GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Bookings: for as long as needed to complete your treatment and aftercare, and afterwards for the periods required by Czech accounting and tax law.
- Health information: deleted once it is no longer needed for your care, or earlier if you withdraw your consent.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, where there is no legal reason for us to keep it;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- send your data to you or another provider in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent. This does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
Write to aesthetiqueprague@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Czech data protection authority, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.cz), or to the authority in the country where you live.
Security
We keep your information on access-controlled accounts and limit who can see it to the people who need it. No system is perfect, but we take care with anything you send us, and especially with health information and photographs.
Children
This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the date at the top.
